Breakfast is debatably the most important meal of the day. Growing up I absolutely hated breakfast because I'm not a morning person and eating so early felt wrong. I wasn't a fan of cereal, eggs were gross, and eating oatmeal regularly made me feel like I was 80 years old. It was fair to say that breakfast was a meal I wouldn't ever be a fan of.
My conception of breakfast changed forever when I moved to San Diego. I quickly wanted to become immersed in the So'Cal culture so my husband and I tried a handful of restaurants. At a local brunch spot I decided to try Avocado Toast, skeptical because I was not expecting much of my likeness for breakfast to be quickly changed.
It may be a bit dramatic to say that avocado toast changed my life but it really made my mornings so much more delightful. Staring my mornings with avocado toast has given me so much energy to conquer my day! To start off the type of bread when making your avocado is almost as important as the avocado itself.
